I’ve always liked Radiohead’s song “Nude”, but then I came across a remix of the track by City Rain, and it gave the track new life again. I’ve heard it non stop since I found it and am sure many of you will do the same.

Roskilde Festival has been running for some days now in the camping area, and tomorrow when the doors open for the festival area, then it will go really crazy.

Theodor C. Introducing ”Ost & Kjex”

“Ost & Kjex”are not like the newest hotshots on the electronic scene, so I won’t bore you with their discography, go read a book instead.

Let me instead introduce you to their upcoming album “Cajun Lunch”: Using funky house-beats, blues/dub/Jazz piano, cheesy vocals, and saw (wtf), “Cajun Lunch” turns out to be a perfect combination between radio-potential and hipster-material.
Organic, surprising and catchy as fuck! Ost & Kjex have managed to produce/write the shit out of this house-release, and I will not be surprised if one or two songs from “Cajun Lunch” will follow you this summer.
The Album is going to be released on Diynamic (surprise) the 28 of June but you can already get the single “Continental Lover” + 2 others tracks from the album here.
We highly recommend that you buy the whole album, because it is good.. You won’t regret!

And so the long wait is almost over. Tomorrow the streets of Copenhagen will be filled with fun-loving people and lots of sweet music when Distortion once again begins. This year it’s 10 years since Distortion first hit the peaceful streets and transformed the various neighborhoods to a big party. Now all we can do is pray that the sun shows its beautiful face, so the party can become even better.

To fill the last hours of waiting, I’ve chosen some tracks that you will get your sences going until it all breaks loose tomorrow.

Two of the tracks are edit’s from Baba Black, which can be seen several places over the next few days. Personally I am excited to hear them play at Blågaards Plads (Neighborhood in Copenhagen) and I can already promise you that it wil be EVIL!

I’ve had the privilege of experiencing this German producer live. He is awesome, at least that day. He is perhaps best known for his track: Geht’s Noch, which was released on Cocoon Recordings. But I’ve most of all admired him for this number. I’ve heard it hundreds of times in the late evening hours or early morning hours, call it what you want.;)
