Now it’s your opportunity to win the Stella Polaris compilation 2010, it’s released in early August and you can be one of the first to get your finger in this delicious release.

Stella Polaris started in Aarhus in 1997 with just 400 guests and today 13 years after the event draws thousands of visitors who come and enjoy the music and each other, and now the event has become Denmark’s most remaining Chill Out event. Stella Polaris takes place in Denmark’s two largest cities first weekend in August where Stella Polaris guests Aarhus on Saturday and Copenhagen on Sunday.

Stella Polaris has continued to build on their success and made a compilation CD. Each CD is compiled by Nicka, Kalle B and Buda forming Stella Polaris Allstars, with an emphasis on tracks and remixes by Danish artists, mixed with a splash of international contributions. Many of the artists have performed to the Stella Polaris events several times, and the CD’s have received splendid reviews by the music press.

Roskilde Festival has been running for some days now in the camping area, and tomorrow when the doors open for the festival area, then it will go really crazy.

And so the long wait is almost over. Tomorrow the streets of Copenhagen will be filled with fun-loving people and lots of sweet music when Distortion once again begins. This year it’s 10 years since Distortion first hit the peaceful streets and transformed the various neighborhoods to a big party. Now all we can do is pray that the sun shows its beautiful face, so the party can become even better.

To fill the last hours of waiting, I’ve chosen some tracks that you will get your sences going until it all breaks loose tomorrow.

Two of the tracks are edit’s from Baba Black, which can be seen several places over the next few days. Personally I am excited to hear them play at Blågaards Plads (Neighborhood in Copenhagen) and I can already promise you that it wil be EVIL!

“We have created a new Player”
I received queries on why you can’t play all the tracks in a row here on the blog without pressing “play” each time a track stops. Unfortunately, that’s how WordPress is built, which is why it’s out of my hands. I suggested that you could download the tracks on your iTunes library to hear them continuously. However, I met a couple of cool guys that had a solution to this issue and they’re now working on developing the new player, which will enable to play all the tracks randomly so you can enjoy hours of music by simply pressing “play”.

Since the “player” is still under construction there will be small bugs, which will be eliminated quickly but please be patient. Please do inform us if you do experience faults, as together we can create in building a player that you’ll enjoy.

We’ve given you the music for the party, office, home or elsewhere, and we’ll continue doing so with the new player.

Use the launch icon in the sidebar to open the player, a littel popup windown will open, and you just press play and the music will play all the time non stop.

This Saturday Park Café hosts a new special project, Flash Festival. Together with one of Copenhagen’s greatest party organizers, Nima K., they arrange a party with 4 scenes and 4 different styles of music, where some of the best DJs will play. The crowd will be a mix of guests from the different club scenes, which will end up being the mash up party of the year.

Dee Jay T.O.M one of my absolute favorite DJs have 20 year anniversary as a DJ on Wednesday, when he turned his first EPs, I was still a little boy, but I went after it, and he is today one of the people who can inspire me most.
20 years with T.O.M as a DJ requires an extraordinary celebration, and it will be held at Jolene  Bar on Wednesday, where we can see T.O.M colleagues, Trentermoller, Doktor Kynik and Brandi playing it up to a good celebration for him, and not at least hear T.O.M play with his partner DJ Buda as Lulu Rouge.
